Miniature Rotary Torque Sensor FYA is intended for rotating torque measurement in both clockwise and anticlockwise direction. Rotating torque sensor FYA offers 0-1N*m / 0-2N*M / 0-3N*M / 0-5N*M four rated measuring ranges to choose from, dynamic torque transducer FYA should be mounted between motor and load through couplings, the housing remains still during measurement while the shaft rotates along with motor shaft. Custom made service is available for other measuring ranges with similar structure. Compact structure makes transducer FYA especially suitable for torque measurement applications with limited mounting space.

Output range of torque sensor:
Example one: Dynamic torque sensor FYA-1Nm with 1.0mV/V rated output powered by 5V DC, the output range is -5mV...+5mV (CW & CCW torque measurement).
Example two: Miniature Rotary Torque Transducer FYA-2Nm with 1.0mV/V rated output powered by 10V DC, the output range is -10mV...+10mV (CW & CCW torque measurement).
Torque Transducer + Signal amplifier:
Output range of Miniature Torque Sensor FYA is normally within -15mV...+15mV which sometimes can hardly be processed directly, so a signal conditioner is introduced to convert mV signal into 0-5V/0-10V/4-20mA for easy signal processing.Taking micro torque sensor FYA-2NM and amplifier FSC(-10-10V)-24V for example,the torque-voltage relationship will be 0-2NM in CW direction VS 0-10V output, 0-2N*m in CCW direction VS 0-(-10V) output, 1V output corresponds to 0.2N*m torque in clockwise direction, -5V output corresponds to 1N*m torque in anticlockwise direction, and so on.
