Shaft to Shaft Inline Type Miniature Torque Sensor FT05 is a strain gauge based non-rotating type torque transducer with mV/V output from the bonded full wheatstone bridge.Reaction Type Shaft Torque Sensor FT05 is available in 0-0.1N*m / 0-0.2N*m / 0-0.3Nm / 0-0.5N-m / 0-1Nm / 0-2N-m / 0-3N*m / 0-5N*m eight rated measuring ranges for reaction torque measurement in both clockwise and counterclockwise direction, high accracy with maximum 0.2% non-linearity of the full capacity. Shaft Style Torque Meter FT05 measures torque by being in line with the object that generates torsion through couplings. Compact size makes torque cell FT05 suitable for reaction torque measurement applications with limited mounting space. Shaft Torque Transducer FT05 can also be modified or customized as per client's request.

A torque sensor is a transducer that converts a torsional mechanial input into an electrical output signal proportional to the applied torque.The acting torsion causes deformation of the measuring element,the bonded strain gage deforms accordingly which will cause the resistance change of the wheatstone bridge,under constant power supply, the output signal between Sig+ and Sig- will change proportionally.The output range of shaft torque sensor FT05 is within -15mV...+15mV, a signal conditioner can be used to convert mV signal into ±5V, ±10V, 0-5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA output, taking model FT05-1Nm working with amplifier FSC(4-12-20mA)-24V for example,the torque-current relationship will be 0-1N*m in clockwise direction VS 12-20mA output, 0-1N-m in counterclockwise direction VS 12-4mA output.
