Threaded In-line Load Cell FLB is made of high stiffness alloy steel based on strain gauge technology intended for both traction and compression force measurement. In-line load cell FLB is designed to be mounted inline to the load axis with rugged structure for industrial applications. Threaded Inline Tension Compression Sensor FLB can be easily mounted to existing system through the threaded rods located on both sides of the transducer, these metric threads can also be used to mount attachments, such as female eye bolt, bolt adapter and so on to fit different usage requirements. Tension Compression Sensor FLB offers 0-100kN / 0-200kN / 0-300kN / 0-500kN / 0-700kN / 0-1000kN / 0-2000kN / 0-3000kN eight rated measuring ranges, each sensor is integrated with a 6-meter-long 4-core shielded cable. Inline Type Force Transducer FLB is normally used for press-in force measurement, cylinder thrust measurement, hydraulic press, material testing machines, general process control and so on.

A Force Sensor is a transducer that converts mechanical load into mV signal proportional to the applied force.The acting force causes deformation of the measuring element,the bonded strain gage deforms accordingly which will cause the resistance change of the wheatstone bridge,under constant power supply, the output signal between Sig+ and Sig- will change proportionally,thus the load/force can be measured by measuring the output signal from the transducer.
Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output of Threaded Inline Force Sensor FLB is around 2.0mV/V.
Power supply of Compression/Tension Force Transducer FLB is normally within 5-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of Tension Compression Load Cell FLB is normally within -30mV...+30mV for bidirectional force measurement.
Example: Traction and compression load cell FLB-500kN with 2.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 10V DC ,the output range is -20mV...+20mV.
A signal conditioner can be used with force transducer FLB to deliver -5~5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA output.
Example: Push/pull load cell FLB-100kN working with -10-10V amplifier,the Force-Voltage relationship will be 0-100kN compression load VS 0-10V output, 0-100kN traction load VS 0-(-10V) output, which is linear regardless of the measurement error. When you get 5V output, it means the current load is 50kN compression force, when you get -1V output, it means the current load is 10kN traction load.
