    A load cell (or loadcell) is a transducer which converts force into a measurable electrical output. Although there are many varieties of loadcells, strain gauge load cells are the most commonly used type which is comprised of a solid metal body on which strain gauges have been secured to form a wheatstone bridge which delivers mV/V output.

    Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity

    Rated output of Flange Type Load Cell FFG is around 2.0mV/V.
    Power supply is normally within 3-15V.
    Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
    So the output range of Press Load Cell FFG is normally within -30mV...+30mV for bidirectional force measurement.
    Example one: Flange-to-Flange Load Cell FFG-200N with 2.0mV/V rated output powered by 10V DC,the output range is -20mV...+20mV.
    Example two: Flange Type Tension Compression Sensor FFG-500N with 2.0mV/V rated output powered by 3.3V DC,the output range is -6.6mV...+6.6mV.

    A loadcell signal conditioner can be used to convert mV signal into 0-5V/0-10V/4-20mA for easy signal processing.
    Example one: Flange Mounted Pull and Push Load Cell FFG-50N working with amplifier FSC(-5-5V)-24V,the load-voltage relationship will be 0-50N compression force VS 0-5V output, 0-50N tension force VS 0-(-5V) output.

    Example two: Flange Style Force Transducer FFG-100N working with amplifier FSC(4-12-20mA)-24V,the load-current relationship will be 0-100N compression force VS 12-20mA output, 0-100N tension force VS 12-4mA output.
