    Subminiature Button Load Cell FC8E is made of stainless steel based on metal foil strain gauge technology intended for compression force measurement. Subminiature button load cell FC8E offers 0-50N / 0-100N / 0-200N / 0-500N four rated measuring ranges to choose from. Micro Load Cell FC8E is featured with only 8mm outer diameter and 6mm total height which makes it extremely suitable for force measurement applications where mounting space is limited. Typical applications for Smallest Force Sensor FC8E are such as clamping force measurement, force overload protection, load distribution analysis, pressing die force measurement, auto equipment, assembly line and so on.     A load cell (or loadcell) is a transducer which converts force into a measurable electrical output. Although there are many varieties of loadcells, strain gauge load cells are the most commonly used type which is comprised of a solid metal body on which strain gauges have been secured to form a wheatstone bridge which delivers mV/V output.

    Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity

    Rated output is normally within 1mV/V~3mV/V.
    Power supply is normally within 3-15V.
    Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
    So the load cell output signal is normally within 0-45mV(-45mV...+45mV for bidirectional load cell).
    Example one: Smallest Load Cell FC8E-50N with 1.0mV/V rated output powered by 5V DC,the output range is 0~5mV.
    Example two: Smallest Force Sensor FC8E-100N with 1.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 3.3V DC,the output range is 0~3.3mV.

    A signal conditioner can be used to convert mV signal into 0-5V/0-10V/4-20mA for easy signal processing.
    Example one: Smallest Compression Load Cell FC8E-500N working with amplifier FSC(0-5V)-24V,the load-voltage relationship will be 0-500N load VS 0-5V output.

    Example two: Smallest Compression Force Transducer FC8E-200N working with amplifier FSC(4-20mA)-24V,the load-current relationship will be 0-200N load VS 4-20mA output.
