M4 Rod End Pull Load Cell FLN is made of stainless steel based on strain gauge technology intended for both tension and compression force measurement. Inline Load Cell FLN offers 0-5kg / 0-10kg / 0-20kg / 0-50kg four rated measuring ranges with mV/V output from the full wheatstone bridge. Compact design makes for rod end load cell FLN especially suitable for force measurement applications where mounting space is limited. M4 threaded rod located on each side enables force transducer FLN to replace the existing structure and be easily embedded into mechanical shaft, the M4 male thread can also be used to mount attachments such as eye bolts, bolt adapters,etc.,for different applications. A load cell (or loadcell) is a transducer which converts force into a measurable electrical output. Although there are many varieties of loadcells, strain gauge load cells are the most commonly used type which is comprised of a solid metal body on which strain gauges have been secured to form a wheatstone bridge which delivers mV/V output.
Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output is normally within 1mV/V~3mV/V.
Power supply is normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the load cell output signal is normally within 0-45mV(-45mV...+45mV for bidirectional load cell).
Example one: Cylindrical Pull Load Cell FLN-5kg with 1.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 10V DC,the output range is -10mV...+10mV.
Example two: In-line Tension Loadcell FLN-10kg with 1.0mV/V rated output powered by 3.3V DC,the output range is -3.3mV...+3.3mV.
Load cell + Signal amplifier:
A signal conditioner can be used to convert mV signal into 0-5V/0-10V/4-20mA for easy signal processing.
Example: Tension Compression Load Cell FLN-20kg working with amplifier FSC(-10-10V)-24V,the load-voltage relationship will be 0-20kg compression load VS 0-10V output, 0-20kg tension load VS 0-(-10V) output.
