A compression load cell is a compression type transducer that converts compressive force acting on it into electronic signal which is proportional to the force being applied.The measured force causes deformation of the measuring element(elastic body),the bonded strain gauge deforms accordingly which will cause the resistance change of the wheatstone bridge,under constant power supply,the output signal between Sig+ and Sig- will change proportionally,thus the force can be measured by measuring the output signal from the load cell.
A strain gauge load cell normally outputs millivolt signal ranging 0-20mV(-20~20mV for bidirectional sensor),and signal amplification may be required for most applications,a load cell signal transmitter can be used to get ±5V,±10V,0-5V,0-10V or 4-20mA signal for easy data acquisition afterwards.
Weight indicator can be used to display the measured value,load cell display FPT is integrated with high accuracy 24 bit Sigma-Delta ADC,sampling speed up to 960Hz,supports RS485 or RS232 communication port,can also output 0-5V,0-10V,0-20mV or 4-20mA amplified signal.
