Compact Multi-axis Force Sensor F3H/F3J is designed to measure force in Fx/Fy/Fz at the same time.Multi component force transducer F3H/F3J offers 0-2000N / 0-3000N / 0-5000N / 0-10kN / 0-20kN / 0-30kN / 0-50kN rated measuring ranges for each axis to choose from,each channel is able to measure force in both tension and compression direction.Stainless steel/alloy steel construction,low profile design makes tri-axial load cell F3H/F3J suitable for 3-axis force measurement applications with limited mounting space.Multi-axis force load cell F3J/F3H utilizes strain gauge technology, each axis consists of a full wheatstone bridge to deliver mV/V output which is proportional to the force being applied, a 3-channel load cell amplifier LC3A can be used to convert mV signal into ±5V, ±10V, 0-5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA for easy signal processing.You may find Multi-axis sensor F3H/F3J interchangeable with interface 3-Axis Force Sensor 3A160 series. Brief instruction of Rated output(or Sensitivity):
Definition: The signal produced by load cell(or force transducer) when rated load is applied, expressed in terms of mV/V. The rated output indicates the output signal range of a sensor.
Sensor output = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output is normally within 1mV/V~3mV/V.
Power supply is normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the load cell output signal is normally within 0-45mV(-45mV...+45mV for bidirectional load cell).
Example one: 2.0mV/V loadcell with 10V power supply,the output range is 0~20mV (-20mV...+20mV for bidirectional sensor).
Example two: 1.0mV/V force transducer with 5V power supply,the output range is 0~5mV (-5mV...+5mV for bidirectional sensor).
Load cell zero output(Zero Balance):The output signal of the loadcell with no-load applied,expressed in mV/V or as a percentage of rated output.The zero output is caused by the stress during strain gauge bonding,it can be handled during calibration or signal processing without affecting the measurement accuracy.
