End flanges located on both sides of the torque transducer can be used for bolting between shaft or mounting plates,very compact size makes model FTE suitable for torque measurement where mounting space is limited. Torque meter FTE can be modified or customized as per client's request to meet requirements of different applications.

A torque sensor is a transducer that converts a torsional mechanial input into an electrical output signal.Miniature torque sensor FTE is designed to measure non-rotating torque which is also known as reaction torque.Micro torque transducer FTE utilizes strain gauge technology to deliver mV/V output from the full wheatstone bridge.
Torque sensor output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output is normally within 1mV/V~3mV/V.
Power supply is normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the torque transducer output signal is normally within 0-45mV(-45mV...+45mV for bidirectional load cell).
Example one: 2.0mV/V torque cell with 10V power supply,the output range is-20mV...+20mV.
Example two: 1.0mV/V torque meter with 5V power supply,the output range is -5mV...+5mV.
Torque sensor + Signal amplifier:
Torque meter normally outputs -30mV...+30mV which sometimes cannot be recognized by signal processing units directly,so signal conditioner is introduced to convert mV signal into 0-5V/0-10V/4-20mA for easy signal processing.
Example: FTE-1NM working with amplifier FSC(-5-5V)-24V,the torque-output relationship will be clockwise 0~1NM torque VS 0~5V output, anticlockwise 0~1NM torque VS 0~(-5V) output ,it is linear within the error range.
Torque transducer + Digital indicator:
Digital indicator can work directly with torquemeter without signal amplifier,here are some functions from the indicator:

-Peak holding to grab the maximum torque during testing
-RS485 or RS232 interface
