Subminiature button load cell FC8E offers 0-11lb / 0-22lbf / 0-44lbs / 0-110lb four rated measuring ranges to choose from. Smallest compression load cell FC8E is featured with only 8mm outer diameter and 6mm total height which makes it extremely suitable for force measurement applications where mounting space is limited. A load cell (or loadcell) is a transducer which converts force into a measurable electrical output. Although there are many varieties of loadcells, strain gauge load cells are the most commonly used type which is comprised of a solid metal body on which strain gauges have been secured to form a wheatstone bridge which delivers mV/V output.
Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output of micro button load cell FC8E is normally within 1.5mV/V.
Power supply of subminiature load cell FC8E is normally within 3-10V.
