Miniature Button Type Load Cell FC10C is made of stainless steel based on metal foil strain gauge technology intended for compression force measurement. Subminiature button load cell FC10C offers 0-50N / 0-100N / 0-200N / 0-500N four rated measuring ranges to choose from. Micro compression load cell FC10C is featured with only 10mm outer diameter and 6mm total height which makes it extremely suitable for force measurement applications where mounting space is limited. Typical applications for smallest compression load cell FC10C are such as clamping force measurement, force overload protection, load distribution analysis, pressing die force measurement, auto equipment, assembly line and so on. A load cell (or loadcell) is a transducer which converts force into a measurable electrical output. Although there are many varieties of loadcells, strain gauge load cells are the most commonly used type which is comprised of a solid metal body on which strain gauges have been secured to form a wheatstone bridge which delivers mV/V output.
Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output of miniature button load cell FC10C is normally around 1mV/V.
