Button Type Miniature Compression Load Cell FCLB is made of stainless steel based on strain gage technology which offers 0-11lbf / 0-22lbf / 0-45lbf / 0-112lbf / 0-225lbf / 0-450lbf / 0-1.12klbf seven rated measuring ranges to choose from, miniature force sensor FCLB utilizes 1000ohms strain gauges to deliver better stability with lower power consumption compared to commonly used 350ohms gauges.Compact design makes button type load cell FCLB suitable for compression force measurement applications with limited mounting space. Each sensor comes with a 4-meter-long shielded cable, 4xM2.5 threaded holes located on the bottom make it easy to mount Button Load Cell FCLB to a flat platform,you may find Miniature Force Transducer FCLB suitable for applications such as load distribution analysis, mold pressure measurement, force overload protection, clamping force measurement, assembly force monitoring, hydraulics force control and so on.

A load cell (or loadcell) is a transducer which converts force into a measurable electrical output. Although there are many varieties of loadcells, strain gauge load cells are the most commonly used type which is comprised of a solid metal body on which strain gauges have been secured to form a wheatstone bridge which delivers mV/V output.
Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output of button type load cell FCLB is around 1.5mV/V.
Power supply is normally within 3-12V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of compression sensor FCLB is normally within 0-20mV.
Example one: Button Load Cell FCLB-500N with 1.5mV/V sensitivity powered by 5V DC,the output range is 0~7.5mV.
Example two: Miniature Compression Force Transducer FCLB-2kN with 1.3mV/V rated output powered by 10V DC,the output range is 0~13mV.
A signal conditioner can be used to convert mV signal into 0-5V/0-10V/4-20mA for easy signal processing.
Example one: Load Button Load Cell FCLB-1kN working with amplifier FSC(0-10V)-24V,the load-voltage relationship will be 0-1000N load VS 0-10V output.
Example two: Button Type Compression Force Sensor FCLB-200N working with amplifier FSC(4-20mA)-24V,the load-current relationship will be 0-200N load VS 4-20mA output.
