Rod End Force Transducer FL25 offers rugged structure for industrial applications.Inline load cells are designed to be mounted inline to the load axis for both tension and compression force measurement.In-line Force Sensor FL25 can be easily mounted to existing system through M5 or M6 threaded rods located on both sides of the transducer,these metric threads can also be used to mount attachments,such as female eye bolt,bolt adapter,etc.,to fit different usage requirements. Tension and Compression Force Transducer FL25 uses metal foil strain gauge technology to deliver 2.0mV/V rated output with 0-50N / 0-100N / 0-200N / 0-300N / 0-500N / 0-600N / 0-1kN seven rated measuring ranges to choose from. Each sensor is integrated with a 4-meter-long 4-core shielded cable,the cable comes with a free end which makes it easy to be assembled with any types of connectors for electrical connection. A load cell (or loadcell) is a transducer which converts force into a measurable electrical output. Although there are many varieties of loadcells, strain gauge load cells are the most commonly used type which is comprised of a solid metal body on which strain gauges have been secured to form a wheatstone bridge which delivers mV/V output.
Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output of model FL25 is around 2.0mV/V.
Power input range is 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of push and pull force load cell FL25 is -30mV...+30mV.
Example one: Cylindrical Load Cell FL25-5kg with 2.0mV/V rated output powered by 3.3V DC,the output range is -6.6mV...+6.6mV.
Example two: Miniature Tension Compression Sensor FL25-10kg with 2.0mV/V rated output powered by 10V DC,the output range is -20mV...+20mV.
A signal conditioner can be used to convert mV signal into 0-5V/0-10V/4-20mA for easy signal processing.
Example: Tension And Compression Transducer FL25-50kg working with amplifier FSC(-5-5V)-24V,the load-voltage relationship will be 0-50kg compression load VS 0-5V output, 0-5kg tension load VS 0-(-5V) output.
